How to request SRIJ self-exclusion
Self-exclusion creates a barrier to online gambling and betting. In Portugal, you can apply through SRIJ.
1. Open the official application
Use the SRIJ self-exclusion form, also accessible on mobile. You can apply whether or not you already have an account with a gambling operator. Enter and submit your details only on the official platform.
2. Check coverage and duration
An application through SRIJ covers all online gambling sites licensed in Portugal. Applying through an individual operator covers only that site. You can choose a fixed period of at least three months or an indefinite period.
3. Understand the limits
A ban on entering casino gambling rooms follows a separate procedure. Consult SRIJ’s instructions for that application and for questions about online self-exclusion.
